Federal Agricultural Research Centre

On January 1, 2008, the former Federal Agricultural Research Centre, with its institutes, will be integrated into the new federal research institutions of the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection.

These are:

Johann Heinrich von Thünen-Institute,
Federal Research Institute for Rural Areas, Forestry and Fisheries (vTI)

Julius Kühn-Institute,
Federal Research Centre for Cultivated Plants (JKI)

Friedrich-Loeffler-Institute,
Federal Research Centre for Animal Health (FLI)
